Do we use the crimes of the others as a stick to beat the other side with?

If I wanted I say all Israelis are murders, haters etc... There is enough evidence of crimes by the Israeli state.

Also if I wanted I could say all Palestinians are murders, haters too. There is enough evidence of crimes by the Palestinian state.

But why do we judge all members of one group by the actions of a few?

Why do we allow the voice of the haters to be strongest????
When there are many who want peace. What good does concentrating on hate do??? It only causes more hate? It is easy to blame the other for their actions.. but not ourselfs.
Shouldn't we be concentrating on peace to build a peaceful future?

I asked a perfectly polite, innocuous question about 'Munich' in which I merely noted that I personally found the book more moving. That's literally all I said! Yet two answerers are now criticising me for my 'hatred' of Palestinians!!

How irrational is this???

I don't hate anyone, I was merely commenting on a film!!

Can we not have any discussion in this section now, about anything, without people twisting innocent comments? Please check out my original post and you will see how totally polite and innocent it was!

Having read the book, 'Vengeance' that the film was based on, I found the movie rather disappointing. The book w as very moving, but the film far less so, somehow...

Anyone agree/disagree and if so, why?

Am really interested in your views.

becoming a human bomb against peaceful people just because they don't have the same religion you have?

All you have to support your arguments are mostly phoney property rights issues. How can you justify such crimes against humanity like educating your children to do such things and teach them lies?

If I came into your home and told you that you may now have one bedroom upstairs, use of the bathroom downstairs, and I get the living room, kitchen, the other 2 bedrooms. In order for you to go to the bathroom you have to pass through my checkpoint. Now if you get angry I will have to shot you, humiliate you, and maybe not allow you to go that day because your papers are not in order. And if you fight back with me, hurt me, I will claim to the world that this is self defense that it my right. Does this sound crazy to anyone else?

#### Before answering this question please note this is not an attack on Muslims.Muslims are normal people, just like any other, some good, some not so.
I am Muslim, and I do not want any bigoted answers. This is just some concerned advice. Also I am not addressing my questions to Muslims as a group, just those individuals that deny the holocaust#####

I'm an European Muslim, and for Europeans the holocaust was the worst crime in our history. Millions where slaughtered in a cruel and systematic way. It is a stain on our history.

It is an insult when people try to deny what happended, or say that it wasn't such a crime. I think it is shameful when there are Muslims that support David Irving or Ernst Zundel. Or when Amadinjad made cartoons making fun of the holocaust.

As Muslims it is sinful to make fun of the victims. We should give respect.

There was a time in my life I did consider such a move, but I am really in love with the land of my birth - the United States of America and the idea of moving to Israel is not something I would desire to do at least for now - though in retirement I might consider such a move again. What are your opinions on such a move?

Now I KNOW Israel can be dangerous but most of it is beautiful and safe. I am goign there this year or next with my mother, and possible father because my mom wants to check out living spaces because she wants us to move back there (ancestors from there) in four years. Anyone from Israel, want to tell me about some beautiful places and society there? I know how to speak Hebrew a little and read it but English is spoken there as well, right? Please, no anti-Israel, please.
