I am trying to call a friend's cell phone in Japan from the US. He gave me this number: 09030421XXX ( I substituted exes for the last three numbers). How do I call this number from the US. I tried 011-81 and then the number. That didn't work. Help! It is very important that I contact him.

If I wanted to send a package, about the size of a shoebox, 10 pounds or less from a US address to an international residential address in the UK, sweden, japan etc. How much would it be?

All the online quotes say it will cost like, $150. I don't care if the shipping is slow... Does anyone have experience with this?

When reserving a room with the credit card, is it possible to show up to pay cash without having the credit card being charged?

Also, do they keep the credit card on file? Or once checked out, it's almost like there's no trace of it being used to reserve the room? (For lack of a better way to put it.) Would the credit card company know?

Also, how much does a cash deposit (the alternative to giving a credit card) usually runs about?

I am currently tracking a package I am waiting on, I got the standard "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper to expect your package for mailing." but that was 3 days ago, yes 3 days. And there has been no update whatsoever. So the statement that they have on there "information is updated every evening" must be false or something. I understand that there are thousands of people tracking things at any given time but why even have a tracking system if its so unreliable? I just dont understand. I just want to know WHERE my package is.

Okay, I ordered something from ebay last Wednesday and I got a email from them (the same day) saying they would mail it tomorrow (which would be Thursday) and it still hasn't gotten here. So does anyone know how much longer it should take?
