We are going to Reno in January- what can we do that is fun and inexpensive while we are there? We are going to gamble- but want other things to do. Also what is your fave place to play slots?

go to tahoe is fun...there isnt much to do herte in winter its a freezing hell

Definitely go to Lake Tahoe!! It's a gorgeous lake. Go see the old "Bonanza" set. Go skiing if you ski - some of the best ski areas in the west are at Tahoe.
Visit some old mining towns, national automobile museum, Nevada museum of art, Circus, Circus Casino is fun.

get all bundled up and go sledding! Check out the hill on HWY 50 between Carson City and Lake Tahoe at the split on the right hand side- awesome!
