Not much... Atleast not in California... However, maybe in other states there is still Anti-Semitism... I also heard of an attack on a few Arabs, just because they were dressed as Arabs.... That is Anti-Semitism too, right???

Why the Anti-Semitism human beings ?!! nicely, from what I particularly have examine, Arabs are additionally Semites so as that they'd desire to on no account be accused of Anti-Semitism. in spite of the certainty that, do you suspect that American Jews have much less, extra , or an equivalent quantity of representation in the yank government? i could tend to have faith that they have got a disproportionate impression using funds, repute and vocal professional-Israeli lobbying forces.

I can't answer this but if you ever want to ask the same thing about the UK, I can tell you easily. I think in Britain both Jews and Muslims are getting a bad rap.

WOW - Maya just talks the biggest load of rubbish I think I've ever read!

The only honest answer given by a non Jew here is Da Man!

How are people like Maya and Gypsy Cat qualified to discuss anti semitism - they're hardly going to experience it!

MAYA - get your basic facts right. The only problem any Jew has with Christian fundamentalists is that alas, often, they have tried to convert us! You are trying to speak on behalf of Jews and newsflash! YOU CAN'T.

Oh dear, GYPSY CAT has clearly been visiting those neo nazi websites again, where they claim that Jews were involved in slavery, run the world and are currently to be found colonising the moon! (-none of this is true, for those that don't get sarcasm)

I am not sure how to quantify antisemitism, but I know from personal experience that it exists everywhere in the U.S to some degree.
I encountered antisemitism in NY, Florida, and Minnesota. I am sure it is rampant in many other parts of the U.S...
I would not call the U.S a religious country.... From what I have read about the subway incident, someone yelled "Merry Xmas", the Jewish guy who was attacked yelled back "Happy Hanukkah", and then he was beaten up badly, until the Muslim guy jumped to help him. He was beaten up as well....

It's there, but it's not overwhelming. However, it has been growing slowly in recent years.

Americans are a bit closed minded and tend to pick on any minority.

more than you might think. i'd venture that every american jewish person here can tell a personal story of antisemitism.
my little neighborhood synagogue was vandalized one weekend, swastikas and such painted on it. we came for services and found it that way. and there are many others.
on the other hand, there are places where it is certainly not tolerated. just depends on the people you know, mostly.

Whoa! I wish where I live, people wouldn't be anti-semitic. They always say, "He/she is such a Jew." I don't know how to explain, but the people always try to find something against Jews. It's painful to hear and see. And yes, I agree with Ultranational, a lot of the black people I know, are anti-semitic. Not sure why, though.
