I do not get it, I mean, Quebec is a Canadian Province, why does it have it's own Yahoo page, I am from Mexico and that here would be like saying "Yahoo Nuevo Leon" (Nuevo Leon is a northern Mexican Province)

Would you still go on a boat if you were to get sea sick every time you went on a cruise or fishing?

For boat lovers who's boats don't love them back!

I would love to go on another cruise although I get sea sick because when I got drunk I felt less sick!

Do you like the hot and humid weather in Texas? Is it tolerable? I was really thinking of going there due to the affordable houses, but worried about the hot weather…I live in Hawaii.

I want to plan a fairly inexpensive getaway for my boyfriend of two yrs and I. We have entered into a mundane rut and I want to surprise him with a trip. We are located in the Florida panhandle area and would be willing to drive no more than 6 hours in any direction. My budget would be no more than $150/night on a room. Also, shows, entertainment, etc would be great too.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I've always been interested in these 2 countries, and have been considering visiting as part of a tour. I will be 18 at time of tour (17 now), I'm just interested to know how safe these countries are for tourists? I was a bit concerned as to whether my dress would cause any problems, I wear tight jeans, and fairly bright tightish t shirts, etc, I basically dress scene-ish. I've visited Marrakesh alone and had no problem at all dressing this way apart from the odd glance, no worse than at home in the UK really. Should things be any different in Syria or Jordan? Obviously, staying safe is a lot more than just dress, but I feel I take all the standard safety precautions, and have never had any problem anywhere I've traveled alone, or part of a group (not that that's a huge amount of places, as of yet).Other question is, this trip would be a signficant amount cheaper to organise independantly. Would it be safe/pratical for a fairly confident 18 year old male to visit these countries alone?

We are taught that girls customarily use "watashi" unless they want to sound really feminine (atashi) or are tomboys (boku). And of course, Japanese TV series would give us that impression too.

But I've heard from my Japanese friends that "boku" is actually a lot more common amongst girls than the media would have us believe. Besides, I have heard a few female Japanese exchange students using "boku", at least while talking between themselves.

So exactly how common is it for girls in Japan to use "boku"?

For teenagers and young adults? (i.e. 15-25)
For older adults? (less common, I'm assuming?)
And children? (perhaps even more common?)

Would it vary by region? Kansai vs. Kanto?

I don't know if you've seen it or not, in "Deya Neya" the person who acts as the actress's father, he appeared to have been performing in many Bengali movies in the 60's-70's. He appeared in many other movies as well. I don't know his real name, but I like his acting. Can anyone provide me his real name with a reference (possibly any website confirming your answer)?

However I am concerned about many of the things I hear about the town. It's old scool goodol' boy attitude and it being mostly retirees and I have heard this from more than one different resource. I have also heard it is pretty expensive to live there and that you cannot find a nice home in a nice area for under 300,000 dollars ( we have children so this is important to us.) can anyone give some advice or information on this area. thanks!

I went on a five night cruise. I had the sea sickness patch on for three days and when I took it off I really did not have much sea sickness.
I got home yesterday and I have been very land sick.
Anyone have experiance with how long this will last?
When can I expect it to go away?
