I will be in Shanghai for 3 weeks and would love to
meet beautiful young ladies who are interested in
marrying a successful American Businessman.
Should I do anything before I go in preperation
and what should be my plan once I get there?

Word to the wise.
Shanghai girls have a reputation of loving money first and love second.
If you don't mind that, then by all means find a Shanghai bride.
If you want love first, then I would be very careful.

To answer your question, there are several ways. Bars (not advised, see my answer above)
Planned events for people to find someone to marry. They advertise in the papers, but unless you read Chinese, you'll have to find someone to help you.
The parks are great, people are in them day and night. Stay in area's were there are people, you'll be safe.

Signed, an ex pat living in the heart of China who would no more go for a quick marriage with any woman until I'm damned sure she's not looking at my wallet first. I know the questions to ask and the warning signs. My advice, be aware --- I got married to a woman who loved money first and me second. 8 years later, divorce, losing my daughter plus $250,000 along with being painted as a child molester by my ex and my family believing it (she is really good at playing the poor abused Asian princess), I learned my lesson.

1) 3 weeks is short. how could you actually get to know a person real good in 3 weeks?
2) worse still for the two of you to be in love with each other in 3 weeks it is even harder. unless you plan to love her beauty and not her, and for her to love your money and not you. then, 3 weeks is more than sufficient.
3) the above (1) and (2) applies to everybody anywhere not just shanghai.

Go to Hooters in Shanghai. Most of the servers are university students and have a good command of the English language! Athletic clubs or coffeehouses are nice places to meet single women. Attend as many business conventions as you can. Find a matchmaking or marriage agency in Shanghai; not on-line. Make sure sure that you have notarized documents from your state government that declares you single or divorced. Good luck!

You nuts! You think China/Shanghai is a market place for a human trophy? Please invest in your human efforts & earn a bride that both you and she deserve.
China is now emphasising on quality. I am suprise that you are contemplating to have a Chinese bride but not aware of the nationwide campaign in China on Quality. Good luck to you.

Yes, you can find one in 3 weeks or even less BUT without love. Chinese women just loved White men for the US $$$$, Green Card and our long "tool". When you come to China, you can see for yourself, the number of Chinese women hanging on the arms of White men!! Easy man!!

it's not good to find a bride in three weeks in shanghai by yourself.if you have someone to introduce girls to you it will be better.because if it's your freind introduce they know that the girl is good or bad..it's better.because by yourself you dont know which kind of girls you will meet.
