My new husband and I are headed to Disneyworld next Friday for our honeymoon. We are staying at a resort hotel and have a park hopper pass. Does Disneyworld give any special perks to honeymooners? If so, what types?

My fiance and I are also traveling to Disney on our Honeymoon. Let everyone know that you just tied the knot. Buy those Mickey and Minnie bride and groom ears. Also, if you go to guest relations in any of the parks you can grab a Just Married button. They are free.

Disney is known for pulling out all the stops when they know you are newly married. Better seats at shows, Better tables at dinner, simple stuff like that. We actually, booked a regular vacation and my fiance simply mentioned that it was our honeymoon. They gave us a quiet room with a king-sized bed.

Remember, when checking into your resort ask if there are any FREE upgrades available. There's no harm in asking and if there is something available they will give it to you.

Congratulations and Good Luck. You're gonna have so much fun. I wish I didn't have to wait a whole year.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. If you are staying at a deluxe resort on Disney property and you let them know you are on your honeymoon (either calling in advance or upon check in) they will almost always do something special for you.

They have a honeymoon package but you have to PAY for it.
Check with the hotel when you check in - they have the discretion to do nice things for you, but it's not standard. EVERYONE gets married, it's a special time for you, but it's definitely not financially feasible for them to give away free things to all the people who tell them they're getting married.
You'll have a blast, but you'll most likely have to pay for it all too. It's the memories that count the most anyway.

at most you might get a few freebies like a button or something, but no real comps like champagne or anything. if you make ADRs at a restaurant and mention it, you MIGHT get a free cake for dessert.
