How? Is there a bus for it? Or do I have to go from Richmond to Roanoke, and then to Blacksburg? I'm gonna be landing on Richmond's Airport and I'm kinda lost. Greyhound seems not to go that direction also.
Thanks.

It is annoying that many questions get absurd to insulting answers, because people do not bother to check the spelling of their text. Some, even get insulting answers due to misunderstandings by the fact that the words are not correctly spelled or the punctuation is wrong or missing.

What is very surprising is that people of higher education are the most habitual un-orthographic persons.

I just returned from a trip to the UK, where I had a small fender bender with a UK resident. Rather than go through my car rental insurance, I agreed to pay him 100 pounds (same as the rental insurance deductible). I'm back in the US - how can I most easily get this money to him?

How would you go about doing this? I mean the real Australian English, not the stereotypical one, I know full well Australians don't go round saying "g'day" to everyone they meet. But I know there are quite a lot of unique words and sometimes even grammar differences that are used in everyday speech. For example, I get the impression you don't say "he got beaten up yesterday", you say, "he got bashed yesterday", I've only ever heard an Australian use "bash" to refer to being beaten up.

How would I go about learn these differences?

I am coming to the UK for 3-4 months this winter, and i am trying to decide if it would be best to bring my laptop and try and find an internet service to use over there or if it would be better to just go to the internet cafes.

I am afraid that if i bring my laptop, I will always be having the anxiety of it getting stolen and plus the hassle of having to carry it around all the time.

But I do plan to use the internet a lot in the evening so was wondering what would be the best advice to follow.

thanks for your answers!

I will be arriving in Dublin at 7 20 am and was wishing to know how complicated it would be to find the train ticket office and purchase the ticket to Belfast and catch the next train to there?

I will be coming in late November btw.

Also should I book ahead my ticket to Belfast from Dublin or do you think that it wont make much difference in price or availablity that late in the season??

Thanks for your answers!

I will be heading to Europe in the spring and am still not sure where I want to live. One place that sparked my interest was the Isle of Man.

What is the cost of living like there?
Would a canadian have a hard time find a job?
Is high speed internet avalible on the island?
Is it easy to come and go from the island if I choose to go exploring the rest of Europe?
Is it true that there are no speed limits along the TT section of the islands roads?

I guess that is all.
