My trip is in October. I put $20 for an airport room and was turned down. Should I wait til right before my trip for a better deal?

I already have plane tickets and destination hotel reservations...I just need an airport hotel for the day before the flight. I have a 6 am departure and live 3 hours from the airport.

alright, I'm going to give u some super good info. only because ur kitty is cute and well I've worked at hotels my entire adult life =D don't use priceline 1st, call the hotel urself and get a quote on their rates, ask if they have any mng. specials or offer any discounts. AAA almost always gives 10% off or anything like that, some corp companies have special discounts for their employees. Once u get a rate from them then check priceline, see if you can get a better rate. whatever u do before you get to the hotel make sure you call there to make sure your room reservations are correct. the date the kind of room.....because it happens alot people get here and it is not the room they wanted. or we could have offered them a better rate. once you go threw any kind of travel agnt. the rate has to stay that way because we have to pay a commision. I hope this helps you, if you have anymore questions, email me.
