The beaches never close - the lifeguards won't be on duty after tomorrow because the season is over and there will be signs that say "no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk", but the beach will never be "closed".

Monday is the last day officially for life guards. other then that swim at your own risk

traiditioanlly labor day the life guards are done.
you can continue to go just at your risk if you swim.
