Life on the Isle of Man?

Question

I will be heading to Europe in the spring and am still not sure where I want to live. One place that sparked my interest was the Isle of Man.

What is the cost of living like there?
Would a canadian have a hard time find a job?
Is high speed internet avalible on the island?
Is it easy to come and go from the island if I choose to go exploring the rest of Europe?
Is it true that there are no speed limits along the TT section of the islands roads?

I guess that is all.

I have seen the Isle of Man tourist site. I am looking for information from people who live there or have visited long enough to see how things work not people who just Googled it.

I moved to the Isle of Man 4 years ago.

Life is expensive here but it is somewhat compensated by lower taxes. Finding a job very much depends on what you would like to do and what kind of qualification/experience you have. We do have high speed Internet. It's relatively easy to get on and off the island (flights to Gatwick, City, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin and few other places or ferry/seacat connection to England or Ireland). There speed limits on all sections of the TT going through villages and towns but there are still some sections of TT (as well as other roads) with no speed limits.
