I have a business trip tomorrow that requires i take a pretty long plane ride. Guys... im scared to death! Ive flown plenty of times before.. and yes.. i know how safe it is... i know the statistics.. but i cant help but be terrified! I keep thinking "well.. a plane hasnt crashed in awhile... its about time one does" and i was dumb and looked at a sight about crashes ( i know i know.. i asked for it)

Take off and landing are the most scary to me... anyone wanna give me any advice on how to feel better.... or tell me anything to reassure me! thanks!

We need to go on holiday at the beggining of august and be back before the 21st but i cant find any cheap enough holidays.

There are 4 of us (adults)
It needs to be abroad
It needs to be hot
It must be near a beach
Some night life
It has to be all inclusive
For more than one week
and it can only cost about £1600 for all of us

would you write New York, NY, or would you use the name of the borough you were born in.

My dad and I were both born in the Bronx, although I never lived there.

I always list my place of birth as New York, NY and my dad always writes Bronx, NY. He says that only people born in Manhattan should write New York, NY. At first I thought that he was associating the mailing address with place of birth, but he says it's not that. He says people who grow up in NYC wouldn't list their birthplace as New York, NY unless they were born in Manhattan.

Maybe it's a matter of hometown pride for him?

So, what do others born in NYC do?
