My 87 year old mother in law would take to take a holiday in the U.K with people like herself who are widowed. can anyone reccomend a good web site to look at for her

They have some good options of what you can do but just in England for any age group.

Get onto Age Concern and also buy the magazine Yours (fortnightly) which is aimed at the older person. Put a notice in the local paper. Some coach tours are specifically tailored for the older person and might be worth ringing a few to find out.

Good on her,what about Saga or maybe there is a friend she could go along with,my mum was the same,she loved to travel,she is 89 now but doesnt feel up to going anywhere on her own,its so difficult.I hope she finds someone,bless her and good luck with your quest.

The best thing to do is to contact any church near you and ask them or try to search on any search engine and put Old widows in the Search ........I hope you will find some thing Good from there.......
