Travel - 30 January 2007

I'm trying to think of where to go for my next "big" holiday. So far I've done florida, italy, france, spain, hong kong, dubai, amsterdam and portugal. I would like to go to a city preferably, with a strong culture and history. Climate doesn't really matter. Thanks for any help!

My girlfriend and I will be going to a wedding (April 28) in Camarillo. We will be there 3 days, so outside of the wedding, we want to have fun there. What is there to do there? Is it easy to get to the beach? Is it good for swimming that time of year? Any good restaurants? How reliable is the Amtrak/Metrolink to and from LA? Want to make the most of our trip; I am from NEw York and I haven't been to CA in years.

This is not a travel question - but have to post it here on purpose.
I asked 4 weeks ago why this section here is more and more turning into a political forum. Received some answers. Choosed as best answer who answered me: I wonder about myself. - Now this particular answerer is posting political questions right here hisself. Well......guess he was right, can't change it.

So far so good. But did ever anybody noticed that's only okay to ask political question when they are pro Israel?. As soon as a question will be asked which is not pro Israel the same person will say right away: traveling section! No politics!

Last example of many is the answerer itay. On the question:Apartheid in Israel? He answered: not a travelling question. But right in here he was asking political questions and was even looking for a girl. What this has to do with TRAVEL?

If political issues come here, then pro Israelis should accept that, too.A question is a question also when asked in the wrong place.
