This is not a travel question - but have to post it here on purpose.
I asked 4 weeks ago why this section here is more and more turning into a political forum. Received some answers. Choosed as best answer who answered me: I wonder about myself. - Now this particular answerer is posting political questions right here hisself. Well......guess he was right, can't change it.

So far so good. But did ever anybody noticed that's only okay to ask political question when they are pro Israel?. As soon as a question will be asked which is not pro Israel the same person will say right away: traveling section! No politics!

Last example of many is the answerer itay. On the question:Apartheid in Israel? He answered: not a travelling question. But right in here he was asking political questions and was even looking for a girl. What this has to do with TRAVEL?

If political issues come here, then pro Israelis should accept that, too.A question is a question also when asked in the wrong place.

@honeymoon: what bothers me, is: when a questions is asked which Jews don't like, they say: TRAVEL
Next political question is pro Israel and the same people will NOT say TRAVEL. If it's pro Israel, then political questions accepted by the same people who are screeming TRAVEL by a question they don't like.
Like my example shows. An Israeli aske a political question (btw a stupid one) and is looking for a girl. This same guy cries out:TRAVEL when i.e. Davay ask some critical about Israel. Why this double standard?
Had my own experience on that. There is this very active lady who told me straight:TRAVEL, but next day when an Israeli schoolgirl had a question about dating she answered without having any problems. Why??????????????

@moneymaker. I am not hateful at all. Plain question was: why is it okay for i.e.a Jew to ask a question not relating to travel and all of you give answers. As soon as somebody ask something against Israel, you remember that this is the traveller's section. That is not hatefull, that is double standard.

i am a Israel citizen .and i agree with you. this is a country like any other country. we have a very big immigration rate and many people are discriminated. so far, many Jews don't like Arab citizens, and many Arabs don't like Jews. oriental Jews don't spatially like European Jews and European Jews don't like orientals.
so, this is a very normal country.in politics, the government made god and bad things, so,you see, is not boring here. and about questions and answers, this depends who you ask.and really, for political q. tray to ask in political questions.in travel people are most concerned with weather and baggage and hotels.

Although I am kinda new to this, so far in the open questions that I found, the questions are either completely anti Israel, the answers often include anti Israel comments, or there are a few travel questions.

From what I do know, in every forum, question/ Answer section, activity etc that I have ever been involved with when it comes to Israel, no matter what it is about, the tide turns to politics, and the Arab/ Israeli and namely the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.

The unfortunate issue is that people forget to open their minds and their hearts. Most people spewing out the hate comments, and the political comments, generally are "armchair revolutionaries", probably never even been to Israel or the Palestinian Authority. They ingrain themselves with one side of an issue, and then plug their ears and blind themselves to the other side. Its too bad.

Funniest thing, as a Jew, and an Israeli, I have never had the same lowdown dirty discussions with my Arab, Muslim and Palestinian friends, as I have had to face with the armchair rev's. And that is certainly not due to the fact that we dont dicuss the Israel Palestine Issue, we just understand what these outsiders dont, weve had enough violence, we want peace. The armchairs just want a cause.

I think that your question is unfair.

First of all, who are these mysterious JEWS that attack you when you ask a political question and then search for love? Could it be that you refer to one, two, three posters top? How do you know they were Jewish, or Israelis?
Your assumption that this double standard is a policy and practice of Jews and Israelis (that is to say: all Jews and Israelis) is what made me feel uncomfortable when I read your question. BMCR (the poster above me) is absolutely right: If we were to target every poster who preaches this and do that, we would be doing nothing else. Yet, it seems that not all double standard posters bug you; only the ones in the travel>Israel section.

Secondly, I can only speak in my name, but I am not bothered by political questions in this section.
You are more than welcomed to come and ask about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, about Olmert and Katzav, about the ultra-Orthodox Jews and anything else that may interest you.
What I cannot accept is hateful questions, racist questions, epithets, slurs and long posts of nothing but slanders and biased "information".
You may ask as much as you like about the American support in Israel, but once you call Israel "parasite" (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=An9bfNpWheZQkjqZTltHJm3.7BR.?qid=20070130230519AAp4sHV) your post has lost any relevance to me, and I consider it inappropriate.

Here is a question that your friend DAVAY posted recently:
"Why the racists Zionists think that GOD chose them to be racists and violate all commandments? Like not to steal other people lands and killing ppl ?" (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aitw2DcNqWhaQeeL.yaCpVDsy6IX?qid=20070118131825AAcDe6m)

Now, if you call THIS a "criticizing" question, then I really have no idea how to make my point to you…

h.
I find your question hilarious and slightly hypocritical.
I posted a question here a few weeks ago for a Jewish interpretation on a Bible verse. Got a really great answer too. But YOU answered;
"This should not be posted here. Try the religion section"
I posted a question specifically for Jewish people and you, obviously NOT a Jew answered.
You believe it may be in the 'wrong' place? Then may I suggest you offer your services to Yahoo. Most of us are here to get our questions answered. - and to hopefully be of some help to others.
No need to get all technical. Why are you so interested anyway?

You said "a question which JEWS don't like".
Hmm.. yet it seems that you only have a very specific problem with one (or is it two) people who answered you on a single question.
(How do you know they are Jewish, BTW? Did they say so? Or did you assume just because they were pro Israel?)

It seems to me that since you are taking the time to post a question that is merely complaining about one or two other users then you are being overly obsessive over it.
Certainly, if I took the time to write about all the double standard, hypocritical, hateful responses that I see in Yahho Answers I'd be doing nothing else with my time.

So, why do I bother responding to you? Well, it HAS been slightly amusing.

Israel is an army and everything in that country serves the army. That army is doing a certain job against residents of the area. In this case I think mentioning the name of Israel is politics in itself. Have you ever heard of a country made by force like that along the history of the world?

I have noticed! I think they should all be punished!
There you go! Find those double-standing liars, and show their fakeness to everyone! You go girl!

P.S. I think that wedjb has a great answer and speaks for most (99%) muslims. But WHAT EXACTLY bothers you so much? is what I want to know. :)))

P.P.S. At least itay is lucky to be mentioned by his nickname.

P.P.P.S. Regarding your last sentence. Political questions are always accepted by the pro-Israelis, it is hate they reject. And, if you would like, you can check that every one of those anti-Israel questions has at least one hateful statement, which we (pro-Israelis) consider ignorant and one-sided.

===========================================
honeymoon? what are you thinking h? :)

Personally I dislike Davay for her agenda. I will never tell her that it is a travel section, but I will do my best to insult her.
h, why is it that when you see one or two Jews do something you don't like, you then automatically blame us all? Is that in your culture?

Those questions you are talking about have no reason, and no base, and are plain hateful.
If someone wants to argue I welcome the challenge, but they would have to listen to what I have to say, and analyze the facts that I bring to the table.
Instead they prefer to bluntly accuse me and my people without taking any blame at all for themselves. That is biased, ignorant, and hateful. And to those people I will be really mean.
As to your "Why??????????" question - h, sometimes people don't know what to say, and they cannot be as much of an azzhole as I can be, so that is the best they can do (Travel). That's all. Your muslim friends are being rude, hateful, and they lack knowledge, and they also lack thirst for true knowledge. They just scream sh*t out.

I am moneymaker now, but not too long ago I was a honeymooner :)))

"@moneymaker. I am not hateful at all. Plain question was: why is it okay for i.e.a Jew to ask a question not relating to travel and all of you give answers. All of us remember? Each single one of us? Or was it those two separate incidents that you are remembering?
My question to you would be - why even make an issue out of something like that? And why blame EVERY JEW for it? Because it is exactly what you did there. at least every Jew on this message board that is.

P.S. I never called you hateful, in fact I know that you aren't, but you are being misled.

Hey h, what would your response be to BMCR and yotg?

DAVAY is just full of herself. She sees it like noone else, and doesn't need her opponent's arguments. She just knows best. You know why? Cause her mullah told her, thats why.

Zionists for years are lying about many issues and the poor things they do not realize that the world is changing and many average Americans are more informed to day about " Palestinian ppl" . Zions you are not alone in this world some one will come and tell the real story we do not not need more lies we need facts based on logic's which say the holy land is for all ppl who are living in it. It took the old white south African government 300 years to realize that all south Africans are citizens of the state based on one man one vote when are we going to see this in the holy land i think if its not soon maybe after 200 years there will be no Zionism.

You said it... Israelies are living in their imagination of existence. When you don't exist but your mommy and daddy think you do, mommy and daddy will try everything to keep you around.

Whatever, i don't reall know how to say it. The only thing i know is that every time i answer a question in this place it gets deleted. I won't be surprised to know the Mussad is watching the site 24/7!!
