Saw the bad reviews of Sheraton and Plantation in Mactan (and bad reviews for the other hotels in Mactan on tripadvisor.com). How about Hoyohoy Villas ( http://www.hoyohoyvillas.com ) in Bantayan Island? Anything similar to that? Or perhaps closer on Cebu Island? Basically looking for a nice villa/cottage on the beach where I can relax for a few days in mid-Feb.. Thanks!

I want to see boreal lights. How often they happen?. when they happen around?- (e.g since aug to dec ...mean there boreal lights season?) Where city/ town are better to see at?
when is time (hour)when they do? . average temperature on embairoment ( i scared about frozen)
I wish visit CANADA as much 15 days, ( beginin at april 1st)will be possible watch they?

I'm moving from Wrigleyville soon. I have only lived in Chicago for a few months, so I only know this area well. I feel safe here but the rent is ridiculously high. The cheaper places I'm looking at are in some areas that look sketchy to me. I found a fairly cheap place in Oak Park, but I don't know anything about that area. Also, how's Humboldt Park? My husband, 3 year old and I will be driving across the US. Starting in NC, visiting in Minnesota, and continuing on to our new home in Eureka, California. I have never been to the western part of the country and am looking for advice as to the absolute best things that must be seen between Minn. and Eureka.
