What are your opinions on this? Do you think the people involved are being unfair? Do you think that the passengers are once again being used as pawns - especially after maybe having saved all year to be able to go on holiday?

If I want to cross the channel to France for an overnight trip, the cost for a return ticket is far less than if I go for a longer trip. Why does it cost so much more, as the ferry/ tunnel still has to provide the same service?
