you won't have a problem i dont think, my dad and step mum went last year and although my step mum has a basic knowledge of german which helped, they usually speak very good english in europe...especially around the more touristy parts

There are four official languages in Switzerland: French; German; Italian; and Romanch (a Latin dialect). The Swiss would probably say they are natural linguists. You really won't have a problem.

very well they all speak english as a second language, although it does have a yoddelly twang to it. and they say cuckoo a lot
