Nine hours from Budapest to New York. That's not excessively long, but when your 767 happens to be overbooked and an issue is raised about getting us to New York urgently and threatening to notify the airline's corporate staff, whom we know well enough to have some pull with them, then we're allowed to board. And since all the seats are filled, we get to sit in the spare aft flight attendents' seats for the entire flight. There's nothing like sitting back there for nine hours, feeling all the turbulance since we're sitting in the absolute rear of the plane, not to mention them running out of soft drinks, the in-flight movie player busted, and a couple hundred passengers not being happy and showing it. Yeah, that was a really fun flight.....

22 hours? I honestly don't think I could handle that! The longest I had was an overnight returning from Phoenix to Detroit...we first flew to Vegas and waiting on the plane for over an hour then off to Detroit...I was seated against a window with nowhere to go as there were extra large people all around me. The first time in my life I was nearly overcome with claustrophobia!

The Canary Islands, about 3+1/2 to 4 hours. I don't fancy flying for longer than that. I can just about put up with a 4 hour flight.

I flew from Minneapolis to Frankfurt usally about 10 hours. But the aircraft company was on strike so I had to fly first to Detroit than Housten, Newark and Amsterdam before I finally got home. Took me about 20 hours.

My longest nonstop is about 19 hours without delay. Singapore airlines EWR-SIN. It's comfortable. But my trip doesn't end there. The whole trip with connections takes about 35 hours. I do it several times a year and I still arrive in good shape with work done.

Manchester,England to Melbourne,Australia, can't remember how long it was exactly but we had a 4 hour wait in Kuala Lumpur on the way too, I wouldn't want to do it again in a hurry even though the holiday was the best ever.
