I'm planning on applying through the JETs programme and I'm currently wondering if 3.6 million yen enough to live off of comfortably for the time being of 1 year? I have chosen Saitama City, Sapporo, and Osaka as my preferences, is that enough for any of those cities?

any info would be apprieciated. i have a band and we all live within driving distance of washington D.C. we'd like to get info on venues or anywhere we could play and possibly get signed. everyone we know expects this band to fail, and we give up and go to college. but we were thinking if we got involved it would be a great opportunity. does anybody have any info?

I live in Denver, CO and have a great life and friends; but I also get bored sometimes (okay...a lot). Denver is a very small city and I don't care for skiing that much. I know people who live in London, my work visa has been approved, and I already have a place to live if I need it. I'm just a bit nervous about starting all over again, but I think I may need that...but I'm not sure.
