I live in Denver, CO and have a great life and friends; but I also get bored sometimes (okay...a lot). Denver is a very small city and I don't care for skiing that much. I know people who live in London, my work visa has been approved, and I already have a place to live if I need it. I'm just a bit nervous about starting all over again, but I think I may need that...but I'm not sure.

Well,if you're interested I can tell you something about my experience.I'm from Italy but lived in London for almost 1 year.I still have opposite feelings for that city.On the one hand when I came back here in Italy it took me months to get over it.I missed London so much I thought I was breaking my heart. On the other hand life there can be a crap and very miserable.Consider the fact that it's one of the most expensive cities in the world.I found it unbelievable how much money I spent on public transportation, food and everyday expenses.Second bad point it's overcrowded.I was there one month ago and believe me I was happy coming back to Italy this time because I found there more people than usual. The weather then is not very good.It rains a lot and it's always windy.Of course it's an interesting city but. . .you must live it yourself.
So,my advise for you is go there and have your experience but leave open doors behind you in case you want to come back home.
Have fun!

Go for it!

If it's gonna be one of those one-in-a-lifetime experience, then you should really give it a shot, rather than regret it sometime later in your life. Bring out that adventurous side of you. Though I can't say for sure you'll like it here, just know that if you never try it out, you'll never know if you like it. Besides, London is a really great city with a lot to offer. I know a lot of people from the States who love the city so much that they end up staying here for good, so keep your choices open.

If you think you are ready well then you should go but if you are not ready then don't go yet and think about it. think about the advantages and disadvantages.
