for learning check out on: en.wikioedia.org/wiki/cape_verde

i went there a couple years ago and that were some of my best times. the capital is the island sal. i went to the island boavista. only one hotel on the whole island. just very few tourists. mostly fram italy, spain or portugal.
cape verde belongs to one of the poorest countries on earth. but - people are very, very friendly, like it wouldn't bother them to be so poor. there is nothing then hot weather, beautiful beaches and crystal clear water. everything must be imported. there you still can buy single cigarettes.
the people in cape verde are not black. years ago it was a slave trade place and because white "masters" where there, too, you find all kind of mix people. even blondes.
slowly tourists starts to discover these islands. it's a surfer's paradise.

i loved it.
