Conventional osram bulbs uses a lot of electricity (more coal burned - greater environmental impact), whereas coil tubes, tubelights and LED's uses much less energy and in the latter case last longer.
Cape Town has changed their Christmas street lights to LED'd and estimate to save 200 Megawatt!

Been living in Hong Kong for a couple of months now and what strikes me here is that almost no one smile. Only kids smile, adults show no emotion on their face or look plain sad. Why such a change? Would love to hear from people who been living in hk all their life to know what's the hell is wrong with you guys! ;)

What do I do when I get off the plane? I will be going to Auckland New Zealand and would like some sort of idea what to do when I get there. I can not find a map of where to go. Can someone who has been there tell me what I need to do and in what order I need to do it. Also I will have someone waiting there for me. Where will he be waiting at. The map of the airport is not very clear.

I am actually going to be meeting a friend from Florida and want it to be a very special and memorial time...will be in Boston from the 28th to the 2nd. It was my girlfriend in Philippines birthday today and as i have only known her a little while and found this around a week it was her birthday could not send her a birthday present in time.I thought to myself today should i send her a little money for it but if i do would she expect it alll the time.She is not working just finished a nursing course plus her family are poor thats why i ask.I told her i would send her an extra present for Christmas though.She never asks me for money by the way.I am trying to save up to meet her in CDO in April.I am from England.
