Which European city do you think is the most beautiful? What makes it so pretty?

oohh, that's a hard question. there are LOADS of beautiful cities in Europe; Bath, Edinburgh, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Venice, Rome, Budapest, Prague, Dresden and so on, and I couldn't choose just one of those. But as I'm living in Paris, I'll say that one, because there are so many famous landmarks and interesting buildings/places and it's very diverse.

There are so many that's difficult to make a choice. And that also depends on personal tastes. Venice, Florence, Prague and some others are very beautiful indeed, for a short visit. But being crawling with tourists everywhere doesn't make them so attractive to live in.

I haven't been there myself, but I have heard many good things about Vienna, especially in the Old City.

St. Petersburg especially in winter. It has beautiful buildings and churches and in winter the river and canals freeze and it just looks magical.
