HI New York is very impressive, now that a lot of money has been spent on it. Hotel Bakpak in Melbourne has really good facilities. Flying Pig in Amsterdam is easy to get to. The Creek and the Clay in Miami have superb locations. Cape Town Ashanti Lodge has the best setting, with lovely views of the Table Mountain.

Trying to plan a trip to Jamaica but now someone is throwing the Bahamas my way. It is just 3 single women who love all aspects of travel, adventure, shop, drink, food and anything else we can think of. We do not want to be stuck on Hotel grounds the whole time. We want to explore and shop and walk around. Crime is everywhere and I am from a large major city so that doesnt help me in choosing Bahamas over Jamaica. Where would we get our best value for all of our entertainment and shopping for nice things?

We are going to NYC in early December and have both been before. Can you recommend a trip to take for a few days in the middle of our stay? My partner is not keen on another city. Ideally it should be by train, rather than flying or hire car.
