The distance is about 600 kilometers. Flight time from Athens is about 40 minutes. I have no idea whether direct flights from Istanbul are avaiable...

Hi, have been to Santorini 3 times now and can't get enough of it. It is a very beautiful island with truly breathtaking views over the Caldera (or cauldron) to the dormant volcano. Resorts vary, my favourite is Perissa which is a great beach resort with just the right amount of bars, restaurants etc. The livelier resort of Kamari is only a short taxi ride, (or water taxi during the day) away. The bus service in Santorini is excellent and inexpensive and a very good way to see the island. The towns of Oia and Fira are well worth a visit, especially at dusk for the fantastic sunsets. A good trip to book is the sunset cruise where you take a sailing boat out into the Caldera, have drinks, snacks and a buffet onboard while the sun sets, definitely a time to get the camera out. There are trips from Santorini to the neighbouring islands of Ios and Crete. Hope this helps and hope that you book up, it really is a fantastic island.

Distance is 364 mi, according to the Great Circle Mapper. I have no idea about flight time, sorry...
