I am flying to South Africa in a few weeks time - 11hours flight. Is there a sleeping tablet I can take that would not make me feel grotty the next morning? I am on prozac, don't know if that matters?

In Thailand, most every home has such a pagoda on a post in their yard. The purpose is to keep the bad sprints away and welcome the good ones.

If anyone can recommend an other "Category for this Question - suggestions welcome

Ideally, i would like a hotel that offers a deal on 2 nights with 1 evening meal. Also I'd like to have easy access to the underground network. Its a really big city so don't want to book and be miles from anywhere

If you'd fly from Toronto to Hong Kong on 1 December, then Air Canada ETD 09:45am takes 16 hours, and Cathay Pacific ETD 10:30pm takes 20 hours. Why? Both are direct flights....

What I think about America is that there is poverty, bad weather conditions, a lot of teenage pregnancy in some parts and families of America because even if the media shows us only the best parts of America people like Oprah and reading tell you more about the country that thinks it all. But guys I guess we need to educate ourselves more about these things

Sorry but I meant to ask about the province yesterday. A couple people thought I meant the dog. The big dog is just a Newfoundland dog. I don't think there is a dog called a Newfoundland Labrador. Sorry about the confusion.

I need to know how to say "Do you want to go to the mall?"
We have Japanese exchange students over at our house (they just arrived yesterday) and they don't know much english at all. If you have any other useful phrases, that would be really great.
(things like dinner is ready, good night, etc...)

Back in the 80's and early 90's, there was an entire slew of these movies. They all had their hearts in the right place, but unfortunately, the end result was putting the Marxist criminal Mandela, and the rest of the evil, backward criminals of the ANC in power.
Forever.
Most of these movies were condescending, Hollywoodized versions of South Africa and South Africans, but some were pretty good. For my money, the best was 'Cry Freedom' with Denzel Washington. Saw that in Hillbrow in '90, and despite initial tredpidation, came away most impressed with Attenborough's movie.
They nailed it. Denzel Washington looked and sounded like a black man from the townships, Kevin Kline looked and sounded like a middle class, English speaking white South African and Attenborough's movie perfectly depicted SA in the 70's.
All you new generation SA's want to know what it was like back then, check out this movie.

Notice that now blacks are destroying the country, no one's making movies about it.

I am flexible in travel, would stay 3 nights. Prefer to go out in the morning and take a red eye coming back to take full advantage of the days in LV.
