I am moving to Cairo on Wednesday and was wondering if someone could tell me where the good bars/clubs are? I hear there is a big ex-pat scene.

Why shame on me? I have been to Cairo before and there are plenty!

Hi,

Well, Cairo has an active night life, but the choice is limited. The cool, him places are few and extremly hard to get into, so make sure u either reserve or go with a regular.

1 last clarification, there are almost no clubs, it is all about pubs. Clubs never lasted long, for some reason people only dance in sharm, gouna etc not in Cairo.

- Sangria - infront of Conrad
- Tabasco - Amman square - Mohandseen
- Club 35 - First residence Giza - infront of Cairo Zoo
- La Bodega - 26th of July street - Zamalek - next to Maison Thomas

There are other pubs of course, but the above are the really IN pubs.

Cheers
