I was given crutches a few days ago and I'm traveling on an airplane tomorrow morning. Are there any special procedures I need to do before, during, or after the flight?

what happens if i cant get my passport in time to go to mexico and i need to leave before it gets here and im going to Mexico City and i only have my B.C and my ID and i stay till next year is that going to be a problem? or while im over there can i get a passport if i need to?

I'm looking for nice place to stay that's close to the ski slopes and a shuttle ride away from the casinos in the evening. I'd like to avoid driving if at all possible. We ski mostly blues and greens. I'm also interested in how the skiing compares the the skiing in Colorado...like Winter Park, Vail, or Keystone.

What would you recommend I do while there? Is there anything that I should not pass on? Any outdoor/indoor activities? Museums? Trails? Luoas? (I know I spelled that wrong!) Last week we went to a wedding in Halifax NS. We decided to take the Maine route, and driving through Northern Maine was so creepy! Everything was so quiet and we drove through these small long forgotten villages . . . just completely gone and abandoned and lifeless. There were massive Victorian mansions, just dead and falling apart. There was no gas station until the little town at the border.

Why did everyone leave the far northern part of Maine? Obviously they get cold weather in winter, but I'm sure they didn't leave because of that?
