I am desperate for her to be with me in the UK, can you tell me the best way of getting her here. I would also like my child to be British and so need her to come to the UK quite quicky - can you help

The best way is:
1. Go to the Philippines.
2. Marry her - civil wedding will do. But if you want to impress your in-laws, have a church wedding.
3. Go to the British Embassy in the Philippines and seek advise about getting a visa for your wife. I think it shouldn't be that complicated as long as you have the proper documentation such as marriage certicate, birth certicates, passports and other documents that the embassy will require.
4. Once you have the visa for your wife, buy a ticket and fly to the UK.
5. Wait until your wife gives birth to your child.
6. Register your child as a British Citizen .

I don't know UK rules for immigration but if it is similar to the USA then do a fiance visa it is the fastest. If it takes as long as it does for us in the USA your child will be born in the Philippines, which isn't a bad thing. It will still be British, at least half. Also the cost for the birth will be unbelievably cheap compared to anywhere else.
Good luck and be patient. I am within 3 months of my wife coming here and I am going nuts with anticipation.

a fiancee visa but i don't think you're child has to be born in the uk for it to be british or acquire a british passport, just as long as you inform the embassy.

Fiancee Visa I would imagine. UK citizens can't be born overseas? US can. It's the seed boy.
Have a lawyer do it to get it going faster.

Please do not assume that the child is any relation to you. Filipinas like to have Kano friends for money and food but they like the Filipino boys for sex.
Get a DNA test done and go from there.
