It costs about 300 RMB to fill up our Honda. I'm assuming the car has a 15-20 gallon tank, so um... lemme think. That's $38 U.S. to fill the tank, and if it's say, 16 gallons, that would be... about $2.38 per gallon. That's a rough estimate, but still cheaper than the gas prices in the U.S.

its 4 yuan, governments pay for some of the gas cuz yuan is so low in value and if the government wasnt paying anything its gonna b so hard to afford

i had the same question in december, 2005. my wife who is chinese says that gas is 40 yuan for 1 liter of gas. that converts to $18.75 per gallon...........and we complain about $3.00 a gallon..........yikes..........
