I currently live in Los Angeles, but I'm contemplating a move across the country around the New York area. My boyfriend lives in Hoboken, NJ. It's very expensive and clustered, so my question is, is there any areas within an hour or two of that general area that is cheaper and nicer to live? I grew up in the country so I wouldn't wanna be in the city all the time. Any thoughts and/or suggestions? Thank you so much!

Japan is one awesome country. From my observations they keep their cities extremely clean, the people are very respectful and well educated. They take pride in their nation & always strive to be a better people. I was very impressed with them.

I am flying into JFK in the morning and going on a cruise later in the evening. My husband and I want to tour NY during the day and don't want to have all of our luggage to worry about. I know there is a place to store my bags in JFK, but I don't want to go back to the airport before getting on the boat. Anybody have any ideas?
