Japan is one awesome country. From my observations they keep their cities extremely clean, the people are very respectful and well educated. They take pride in their nation & always strive to be a better people. I was very impressed with them.

I have lived in Japan for 20 years. I live near Osaka. It is not really very clean, and the commuters are extremely rude. There are lots of wonderful people and places in Japan, though, or I would not have stayed for so long. Come on over and have a look.

I live in Japan right now. Yes the people are extremely nice and friendly, but as for the cleanliness, it's not any better than the US.
