My gf, her cousin, her cousin's gf, and I are looking at going on a princess cruise to the caribbean for spring break this year. Anyone have and insite or tips on cruising especially with princess. After returning from my trip to Canada (which was terrific), I was checking my bank account on my pc, and noticed that the restaurant charges where I used my debit card to pay did not include the tip I wrote in on the bill. It was the same for several restaurants, and I'm confused, I hope the servers got the tip.....

Many travels are decided in last two weeks before travel...especially in family emergencies or death. Even vacations cannot be planned ahead of time with two spouses working and kids in schols etc.
Airlines rip you off unless you have booked flights 3-4 weeks in advance. It is going to cost them the same to fy me if I book ticket today ot on August 31st for a travel on September st. So why do they rip people off? Is that not price gouging. No other industry does that. FTD cannot tell you for example that if you send flowers tomorrow, it would cost you three times as much as if you send it in a month.
You would think that an industry bailed out big time after 9/11 would be more customer friendly to tax payers whose money it took to bail them out.
Why doen't the congress do anything to regulate their practices?

i went ther and just got back and it was so beautiful. Everyone has such a distorted view of it even though they've never been. I mean under the carribean i don't see Haiti but I see the Dominican Republic, and if you take a carribean cruise, when it gets to Haiti, they don't say Haiti(Labadee), they say "Hispaniola", which no longer even exists. When you hear news about Haiti, you hear it's dangerous and blah blah blah. Everywhere has at least one spot that dangerous. In Haiti there's just one small town that's dangerous. That's it. One spot. I had the best vacation of my life in Haiti, but why does everyone hate the country and its people?
