You can add 5 bucks to your pass at the end of your day too to use the pak all season, or if you are in town for a couple of days, it has been far too hot here to be out all day at a park.
I have not heard of the other park that you are asking about.....Canadian or American side??
The only place I can think of that is located about 45 minutes from here is Bingemans Park and Camping, go karts, water amusement park etc.
