I'm a fairly good flight attendant, always trying to be nice to my customers and friendly to everyone. When you go on a cruise, you tip everyone who serves you but when you get on the airplane to go home, you quit.

Years ago "they" told us not to accept tips because "they" paid us nicely enough. OK, we all know that's changed. So what's up with not tipping your flight attendants?

I'm looking to relocate and Philly is on my maybe list. I am planning to drive up there myself and look around, but I don't have any real leads on where to start. I'll almost certainly be renting, and my monthly rent budget will be somewhere around $500-$650/mo.

Which areas are considered "nice"? And which ones should haul a$$ away from? Info on surrounding areas, and locations across the Jersey line are also welcome.

Thx.N.Advance

OK, so I am going to the Philippines to go meet a girl from the internet. She was married and is separated now, but not officially divorced because she doesn't have money to get an annulment. Her husband threatened that he could take me to court and put me in jail if I try anything with her because she is still legally married to him. Is that possible or is it just a scare tactic to keep me from coming?

On the US Embassy home page it warns against Americans traveling to the country for safety concerns due to terrorists and all. Is it as bad as they make it out to be...particularly in the areas of Cebu and Cagayan De Oro?

Whenever I fly, I get chosen to be searched. I'm ready to file a suit against somebody because I cannot get through an airport without being stopped; pulled into a small room & searched. I have dual citizenship. Could this be doing it? If I AM on a watch list, what can I do?

During my visit there will be 2days and 1 night when I will be on my own. I'm looking for a hotel that is in a safe location that is also close to shopping and attractions. I'm looking to spend no more than $150 per night. It will be a Saturday night stay. Any suggestions? Internet access would be great.

Every single time I fly, I get "chosen" to be searched! They pull me aside into a small room; make me take my shoes off; hold my arms out while they wave that wand over me; etc. I mean, EVERY FREAKIN' TIME I FLY!
It's gotten to the point that I pretend I'm Deaf (I know ASL) to slow THEM down because I'm so freakin' upset that they pick me every single time I fly.
What gives? Is there some kind of code assigned to me or my name? I look & carry myself like a normal American. It REALLY p!sses me off that I get picked each time! What can I do?

Something occured to me at work today when an American customer asked me "What language is spoken in Brighton"...jokes asdie, this is just one of a heap pf dumb questions ive been asked by American tourists. And now I find that only 30%of Americans have passports. Do they know there is a WORLD OUTSIDE AMERICA? Its starting to really piss me off! I was also asked "How long did it take to build the bridge that goes from England to Scotland" ....... need I say more? What are youre views on this?
