Hi guys,

I am new to the snowboarding world (only went once), but I want to buy my own snowboard instead of renting one. I've been doing my research, but am unsure of what size board I should buy. I am 5'5, 125-130 lbs, and am looking for a beginner board. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am a high school Nordic Ski racing participant and am looking to buy skate-style skis. I am about 125 pounds and 5'6". Should I go with a medium or stiffer flex? What length would be good? (I am looking at length 182 or 186-187.) Any specific ski? Please Help!

How much should I expect to spend for some decent used equipment? Is it wise to buy boots online without trying them on? I dont want to go above 200 for board, bindings, and boots. Is that unreasonably low?

Three of my friends and I are planning on a ski trip to Vermont in the beginning of March. We would like to go to Mount Snow, Killington, Sugarbush, and Stowe. Is there any kind of pass we could get instead of paying for single day lift tickets at each ski resort? I noticed the powder passport on another website but it does not include any of the mountains I mentioned. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm from Australia and taking my first skiing trip in February to Whistler, Canada. Never having really been to the snow before I'm wondering what type of shoes are appropriate to wear while walking in the snow?

I know they have glades but do they stack up with Jay Peak and Mad River Glen? What other ski areas in Vermont have good glades skiing?

I've got a pair of Burton Casa Boots, the size is not the problem because I fitted into an even smaller sizenumber (but I eventually returned the product because I got really numb feet even after a week wearing them with a thick sock).
I'm also worried that it's been already 5 days since I last rode the snowboard yet my toetips are still a little bit less sensitive to touch, as if they were still somehow numb).
On the other hand my heel is loose and I can't control the board really well.
I also wear snowboard knee height socks, but I don't know whether they're too thick or not.
How can I improve the situation?
