What's the difference between water resistant, repelland and proof?

Water resistant is the least effective. It will protect you from light showers for a while, but you will eventually get wet. Waterproof should protect you for however long you are out in the rain. Water repellent is in the middle.

If you want it for skiing, water resistant should be OK if you only ski in areas with dry snow. As soon as you go anywhere else, waterproof is the only thing that is guaranteed to protect you all day.

they r 1 in the same. resistance is more powerful and repellant
