Volkl makes great skis
I've heard the new volkl wall and volkl bridge are awsome skis. Both good all mountain skis. the bridge is wider, better for powder but can still be used in the park. The wall is more of a park ski that will also handle powder.

Brands are a matter of opinion.
Models are a matter of opinion.
YOU have to decide since YOU are the one using them.
DEMO. DEMO. DEMO. DEMO. DEMO. DEMO. DEMO.
We can all give you our opinions, but what I ski may be too much or not enough for your style and/or ability.
I went from Volkl to Salomon. Still like Volkl, but these Guns are nifty!

Can I say this one more time?

You have to DEMO the skis, to see if they match your "personality".

Even within a brand, each ski is different. Try several different skis, in a couple different brands...then see which one rides the best for you.

Personally, I like my Salomon twins, but what is good for me, may not be good for you.

EDIT:

ha ha. Skis.

NOT Skies!!

I am not up on this, but my teenage son did a lot of research and he feels the Rossignol Scratch FS WRS are the best out there for the money. Below is a link to eBay site with these skiis. H epreviously had Lines but thinks these are a lot better.
Hope this helps!

skis(note the spelling lol) are a sizable investment so why buy without test driving them. if you can't demo, swap with buddies to get the feel of as many skis as you can before you buy

Are twin tip mountain skies like "blue skies" or "cloudy skies"?

I hope you ski better than you spell.
