I am looking to buy a snowboarding jacket for my boyfriend for christmas. What is a good brand that won't break the bank? We live in MN

I would suggest looking on a couple of web sites that carry high quality outdoor jackets at discount and discontinued prices. Try:

I see a Burton for $100 and some Columbia and Northface for half the original price. That shouldn't break the bank.

what do you consider "breaking the bank"

look on ebay first of all.

I will be posting my jacket on there this weekend actually. Shaun White's Jacket of the Gods.
Its a really nice coat. Originally 275.00.

Cheak your local snowboard shop and talk to them.

Make sure you know a for sure size though. Know his measurements. Buying a coat too big or too small spells trouble everywhere.
