It seems like when you walk into a gun shop, the prices are set and there is little negotiating, especially since the MSRP of new guns is so much higher than the store's price tag. Do you negotiate to get the price lower, or do you just ask for some free accessories, like holsters or free magazines?

Also, is it much easier to bargain for a better price on used handguns or consignment items?

after all its a crazy ban thats had no effect and hasn't benefitted anyone not even the fox. All its done is reduced the number of hounds in the hunt and wasted police time .

Why did they bother banning it?? Why did they use emergency parliamentary procedures to force the ban through without a proper vote!! ?

For the frist time I was looking at the horrific video of the 1994 Rampaging Elephant name Tyke who killed her trainer and busted out running the streets Hawaii. Police where shooting at her with 9 millimeters handguns, shotguns, finally a police officer used a .45 caliber repeating rifle to cripple her, then he continued to shoot dozen of more shots into her until she bleed to death and hour or so later. What a sloppy inhuman kill. Surely there are super-power rifles out there than can kill and Elephant much more quicky. Perhaps a 50 caliber rifle or some sorts. Does any one know of a rifle that is very effect against a 10,000 pound Elephant. Please include the details of the rilfle, weight of the bullet, if possible.

Please give me the principles of choosing a handgun and rifle for hunting as to:

1. Barrel Length (minimum & maximum barrel length for accuracy?) i want to shoot long-range
2. Overall weight (is heavy better than lightweight?)
3. Caliber (the bigger bore, the better?)
4. Ammo & grains (availability & brand)
5. What is the meaning of recoil?

thanks a lot

I am just starting to appreciate shooting hobby. i love playing counterstrike games in the PC and i want to be able to shoot the real thing at a shooting range. i plan to buy each gun category (pistol, submachine gun, sniper rifle) for collection and hobby but i want to buy the best but affordable ones. I need your help. also what are the requirements as far as owning guns are concerned. i am a responsible person and i live in Missouri. what pistol, submachine gun and sniper rifle do you recommend? initially i like the Super 38 caliber pistol, AR-15 or M4 Commando and Steyr AUG, and Steyr Scout rifle w/ scope. thanks

Are the Winchester AA target shells filled with lead or steel? If it doesn't say Steel on the box then can I assume that it is lead?
