Generally in the United States and Canada there is some form of game in season from September until March. So, yes, if you're in the Northern part of the Western Hemisphere, hunting season has begun!
For more information (what exactly is in season and for how long, etc) search for the website of the Department of Fish and Game for the state that you live in. You'll be able to get more specific information for your area.

in most states the regular season for deer/elk has closed. Many places open around October 5th or so. Duck season is still open, as are a few special hunts, usually done by a drawing. What kind of hunting and what area are you asking about?

i think you are a little lost in your mind, because hunting season here has come and (just today) gone. there is still bow hunting left, but no more guns can be used the rest of this years hunting season.
