Deez, you are first going to need a permit to keep a wild animal. You will need to contact the wildlife folks in your state to see if you can even qualify for such a permit. If you keep the animal without a permit, you will be subject to some pretty stiff fines. The best thing you can do for both of you is to release him back into the wild and then start the process for obtaining the proper permit before capturing another wild animal.

As far as I know, it's illegal to raise a bobcat as a pet. The best thing for it would probably be to let it go.

In most states it is illegal to capture and keep wild animals. You'd best contact your state's fish and game department to make sure you are not violating the law.
Personally, I'd take the critter far away and turn him loose. Wild animals do not make good pets.

What is best for him is to be released into the wild. Not to mention it will save you a trip to jail

dont call the game warden or parks and wildlife! I f its illegal in your state you can get fined for having a wild animal in captivity. IF IT WAS ME...I WOULD TURN HIM LOOSE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIELD AND LET HIM GET AWAY ABOUT 75YARDS AND SHOOT AT HIM. IF I HIT HIM IT WAS HIS TIME TO GO... IF I MISS YOU KNOW HE WONT BE COMING BACK!

My fathers friend had one. It was cute as a pup but it will grow up to be a wild animal. Trust me, don't keep it unless you want to be eaten by your pet.

Check the legality of what your doing in your state first. Some states you cannot own wildlife as pets, but you can shoot em all day. Ironic huh.

Wild animals are not pets, and it's not cool to capture them and keep them. Also, probably illegal in most states.
Call the wildlife agency in your state and fess up and ask them for help.

Please release the Bobcat asap and return it to its natural habitat.* It would be best for the Bobcat if you did so.*
