The cheaper stuff like Federal and Wolf tends to jam slighty more in semi-auto weapon and is also the least accurate. It is better on your weapon and you to pay the extra price or talk to someone about loading some ammo for you. A good loader will take the weapon and try different grain bullets ,along with other changes that can be madae to a cartridge, and fire the weapon to see what works best. its mostly a trial and error thing because every gun is different.

I sure would like to know more. But I would say its more the weapon than the ammo. Some weapons you could try 50 different types of ammo but the weapon would always jam.

cheap ammo is often oily and dirty and jam more. Buy premium ammo. As far as bullets, sometimes hollow points jam more because of their design, but it depends on the gun and type of hollow point. With time you can decide which works best.

one ammo to another doesn;t make a world of difference
i would say your weapon is dirty, take it completely apart and clean it.
