Not a bad stock for the money if it suits your needs. It's a "drop in" so you won't have to have it fitted to your Marlin Model 60. Switch Stocks and you are good to go. You will find that a pistol grip stock like this makes accurate shooting easier as it provides stability that a factory stock doesn't have. Won't chip, crack or peel. Impervious to temperatutre or bad weather. This one is styled after the Russian Dragunov SVD style Stocks. Fair price.Go for it...

It's an ATI stock, I bought an ati stock for a hipoint carbine and liked it, if this stock is as good as the one I have then you'll like it. Yes i realise it's 2 different rifles, but hopefully the quality would still be there. I will say that i prefer the tapco stocks over ati stocks when using it on an sks. Honestly you best bet would be to find someone or somewhere that has these stocks and ask to see one. Try a few out and buy the one that "fits" you best.

I prefer blue steel and well shaped walnut, so I think it is pretty butt-ugly.

However, if I had a Marlin M-60 with a busted stock, I'd buy it.

Yeah, it is nice. You can hang it everywhere. Easy to grab. In a close combat with someone. you can hold the stock to hit him in the face.

Since it's one of the few choices for customizing a Marlin 60....and it's a good solid stock....nand I'm the one that showed it to you......I think you should get it and send me a pic! DJ

ATI stocks are designed for open sight shooting. That stock, with that scope, you'll have to hold your head up off the cheek to sight down the scope. It's extremily tiring and it's bothersome to try to shoot that way. Be prepared to wrap some pipe foam and duct tape around the cheek to build it up to a useful height if you use it with a scope.

Save your money. Why restock a cheap rifle?, just trade it if you want something different. BTW, this stock is butt ugly.
