You want the Savage 111FXP3-blued barreled action, black synthetic stock, AccuTrigger and mounted/boresighted 3-9x scope. The 111FCXP3 is the same rifle without the AccuTrigger for about $75 less.

Savage model 110 E. Years ago it was considered the most accurate out of the box rifle you could buy. My Dad had a wooden stocked one for years that I would hunt with. The gun never missed.
My brother has that one now, but my dad now has a synthetic stocked black model 110 e with a 20 inch barrel. It is sweet to shoot, and I harvested a deer with it three years ago.
I love my Marlin ATR in 30-06 too though and I filled all my tags with it this year.

Yea dont get the remington 710 I did and I regret it. Purchased at walmart, you dont get to check it out as much as you would like. The bolt is sloppy and jams either forward or back. Look into the Remington 700 if you can afford it is one of the best. The Savage makes a very good rifle, with adjustable trigger.

Yes, that is the one I got, black synthetic stock, accu trigger and Simmons scope.... I could go with a better scope.... I dont care for Simmons, but all for under $400..... the action is solid and smooth.... the rifle is very accurate and very nice for the price, especially with the accu trigger.... go get it, you wont regret it.
