get a gotor, or a buck. they are indistructible and work amazing. my dad has had the same buck for 40 years and it still works great. it has been to hell and back.

some of the best edge holding knifes i have ever carried are benchmade knifes and crkt knifes. They will really hold a sharp edge. I have several bucks and gerber knifes too, if you went with one of these two i would go with the gerber, bucks get sharp but if you cut a piece of leather with it it will lose the edge.

Go to Lowe's and buy a case knife.
they have folding blades and cost less then 30 bucks and they come with a lifetime warranty.
they are easy to sharpen (if you know how to use a wet stone)
best folding knife I ever bought.
make they come with locking blades and non locking blades.

if you're looking for a fixed blade
go with a buck.

Bucks don't loose their edge that's why their one of the most popular. Also because of their guarantee. You break it they will replace it. I also like Western. I've had one for over 20 years and even though its of carbide steel it holds a edge and has been very reliable. I just have to keep it clean and oiled so it doesn't rust. I would never use a lock blade or folding knife for hunting, gutting, or cleaning game. You will never get all the blood and gunk out of the knife. This will eventually wear on the mechanism and germs will linger forever. When I purchase a knife its like my guns. I buy for the long run to hand them down to my family. Don't purchase one that your going to throw away in a few years.

75 bucks on their website

I do not believe they are worth that though. Buck and Gerber both are much better knives for a lot less money.
