Anyone know where I could purchase a barrel and firing pin for a Jennings j-22?

I know the Jennings is far from the greatest gun in the world but I would like to get it in working condition for plinking.
I have other guns for serious shooting.

Numrich Gun Parts Corpration has your firing pin and spring in stock..But the DO NOT have a barrel for the Jennings J-22. Barrels for these are going to be tough to find. They have been discontinued for some time and wern't a very popular handgun to begin with.Good Luck!

OK, so the Jennings isn't a Colt or S&W but you already know that so I'm gonna "DIS" your gun {of course through the years I've probably had 10 of them and some were anchors but 2 of them were damned accurate}. The only option for your barrel other than numrich arms or jackfirstguns is to have a gunsmith turn down a .22 barrel to fit and press it in. I did this for one of mine and left it 3" longer then the end of the slide, I used a basic barrel blank from numrich arms that cost about $10.00 and after that it just took me time. In the end it was really accurate {given the lousy sights} but a little more unwieldly then stock.

Most gun shops won't stock or even work on firearms like the jennings. It's a pretty cheaply made in expensive firearm. Replacing parts is sometimes more expensive than buying another one. My advice is buy a quality .22 and forget the Jennings. But, if you still want to repair it, try Numrich arms, or just start calling gun shops to see if anybody has the parts you need.

Sorry mate, but you are going to spend more money than the gun is worth.

Why not tie a fishing line to it and use it for a sinker.

Numrich would be my first stop. If they don't have them, try Brownell's.

If it can be found, they would have it.
