Primarily I am a sheep hunter. I've been using a 257 roberts for a while with great results. This year I realized I see grzzlies up on the ridge tops every year, but they usually are out about 300 yds on the next ridge. Another thing- I dropped my 375 ( for moose ) in a river this spring. So I need to upgrade to one rifle for all three situations. I've pretty well decided on a 300 caliber, just can't decide between the ultra mag and the short mag. Considerations for me are gun cost, ammo cost,ballsitics, weight and recoil, and range of bullet size available.
Once I get past this I have to decide on a make and model and barrel length. I am left handed. Thanks for the time.

I was target shooting with my Browning "Furry CB7B" and I ****** it, but it didnt cock so when I let it go it dry fired, so the string came of the metal string holders atached to the cams. Now I cant put the string back on, any ideas?

My father in law left my husband his guns. He lived in Alberta, Canada. We have tried shipping them through UPS, but they will not allow us to do that, even though we are sending them to a dealer. Would it help if we broke them down? Would they accept them then, if we are sending separtely? We would really like to get them down here. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks, to those of you who tried to help!!

I understand that the Assault Weapons Ban has been proposed to come back. It is H.R. 1022 and it was proposed by Caorlyn McCarthy of New York. Do you think that the Assault Weapons ban is going to be ratified, or do you think it will fail to gain any momentum? Also, do you know of any new provisions it may entail? I own a Bushmaster AR-15. Is the ban going to retroactive? Is there a chance that I will have to give up my rifle, or is it grandfathered in?

I'm a beginner at clay shooting. I looking to buy a new shotgun for this purpose, but the sources I've seen recommend an autoloading double barrel (side by side or o/u) shotgun for trap shooting. But these are generally a lot more expensive than pump shotguns. Can I just get a pump shotgun for trap shooting?

Growing up my friend played a lot of FPS's such as counter strike and such. ok so i was wondering if you have you scope set for 50 yards and you have to make a idk 78 yard shot is there a mathematical formula you can use with a 1/4'' adjustment that will make the scope exact or do you just have to learn to estimate the best you can?

Please do consider some newer and less known rifle recently produced by countries like Singapore (SAR 21), Israel (TAR 21), China (QBZ-95) , Germany, US, France etc.

Personally I prefer bullpup designs due to recoil efficiency, and side cocking rather than top cocking in M16 as it is easier and faster to reach from firing position. 5.56/ 7.62 dun matter.
I still think there isn't assualt rifle good enough to replace M16/M4A1 in my opinion.

My soon to be little step brother will be turning 9 in January.....Any Idea of a good, durable, and nice pocket knife that isn't too expensive? I'm willing to pay up to $20.00 for one...
