Snipe or Woodcock, YES THEY ARE ACTUAL WOODLAND BIRDS!!!!
Ever wonder were the term sniper came from??? Snipe and woodcock are very difficult to shoot. As soon as they leave the ground they fly in a fast zig zag pattern.
All you really need is a shotgun, but my springer spaniel loves flushing woodcock.

Does anyone on here realize that there actually is a bird called a snipe. I do know about the game we have all played or been a part of in one way or the other, but it is true.

A paper bag and a stick. You open up the bag, tap on it with the stick, and say "Here snipe, here snipe..."

A gun is always a good choice of equipment, and a dog, what more do you need?
And you expected sensible answers?
